If you have dietary restrictions please notify us ahead of time.
One of the foundational principles of WE ARE’s mission is the desire to give back to the destinations visited; redefining how we answer the call to travel.
We will be partnering with MBoutik for a weaving workshop.
For centuries Burmese women have taken pride in weaving. MBoutik is a lovely apparel and household goods boutique--however they are also invested in social development. It is also a resource for local women to understand what they should make, and get a fair price for it. We will participate in a hands on weaving workshop where we will learn about the traditional trade these women are striving to keep alive. We will invest our time and money into furthering the social devlopment work they have been doing.
