On any trip with WE ARE, there is always an unexpected guest, one whose name may not appear on the list yet makes her presence boldly known from day one. She brings with her a bag of unknowns, is familiar to most and goes by many names, but for now, we'll call her "Fate."
We, as humans, are meant to connect. There is an intuitive calling that comes from so deep within us we feel it in our bones. Sometimes we don’t understand where that calling comes from, or what it’s leading us to. Whether it draws us to nature, to others, our roots, our heritage, or to the deepest part of ourselves. It is an innate compass guiding us on life’s great journey.
Oh Italy, an adventure we can never forget. Positano, where our accommodation stood, was built only to let in those of adventurous hearts. Our beautiful home for the next six nights was surrounded by a road pathed only for eager feet; so narrow, so tricky that no car could take the journey.
We traveled by mini-van which reminisced the essence of an old-fashioned family road trip. In the excitement of it all, we found a gem among your deserted lands and her name is Scorpion Bay. She’s hidden; tucked away in the little fishing village of San Juanico. Her early mornings greeted us with a cool breeze while afternoons struck us with a scorching heat but we didn’t mind.
If anyone thinks it’s impossible to snowboard and surf on the same day, Ladies Shred Society will prove them wrong, rounding up 50 women to do exactly that. Ladies Shred Society hosted their 2nd-annual-weekend event and we were there to get in on the fun.
